some ncurses installers don't function in xfce terminal - trinidad - 04-30-2022
I've run across this a couple of times now and had to go through the grep process ID and kill sequence to get rid of locks. It's probably not something most users would encounter though if you want root system mail like I do you will encounter it in the xfce terminal during installation.
