| I am running Linux Lite 7.0 and have been trying to download Balena Etcher without any success.
Keep getting unknown/unrecognized file?

| Well if i update() or upgrade from a terminal everything works fine. But if i try to use the Synaptic Package Manager i get the error message.

I did as suggested and ran

and everything seemed to go without an hitch.
But i still get the same error message wh... |
