What hardware have you, and how old is it ?

Have it always behaved like that (from brand new), and if not - where there any changes done before you noticed it first tome ?
I won't let an old, but fully functional computer die just because some company tell me that they won't make no more security updates to their OS. Thanks Linux Smile

It's an old P/C that's why I chose Linux Lite.
I had to use "noapic" to get LL to install
I tried Mint Peppermint UbuntuStudio  all Distro's had the same trouble

I have onboard chip-set realtek alc883  It works fine and plays fine if I don't move the Mouse over an open window.
Example, playing song in Fire Fox, open Volume control, Moving the Mouse over the menu causes a scratching sound or popping sound.
Opening the terminal and Moving the Mouse over each line of text produces a sound similar to bare wire touching speaker post intermittently.

It's always done this. I hoped the update after installing would have fix it, but no
