Bonjour j'ai cette erreur lorsque j'essaie de mettre à jour, ce problème est apparu après que j'ai essayé d'installer Signal ; Veuillez noter que je suis nouveau à Linux depuis exactement un jour. Je me demande si vous avez une solution à ce probeleme car je ne peux plus faire de nouvelle commande sur le Terminal et je ne peux pas lancer les mises à jour

Linux Lite 7.4 RC1 is now available for testing.

Linux Lite 7.4 Final will be released on 1st April, 2025.

Changes:
Minor release
Linux Lite 7.4 is considered to be a minor release as it only contains, LTS updates, bug fixes, code and GUI changes.
These include:
- Lite Updates
- Lite Info
- Updated icons
- Fixed Chrome not launching in a Live session
- Newer LibreOffice (25.2.0.3), as well as the usual compliment of updated default applications.

Lite Upgrade
Lite Upgrade was producing some syntax errors that did not affect how the code ran, it was just spitting out errors that could be ignored if you ran lite-upgrade-series7 from the Terminal. That has now all been fixed. Lite Upgrade code is now up to date and running cleanly.

How do I know if my Windows PC has UEFI?
In Windows Search, type msinfo or msinfo32 and launch the desktop app named System Information. Look for the BIOS Mode item, and if the value for it is UEFI, then you have the UEFI firmware. If it says BIOS Mode Legacy, then that’s the firmware you’re running.
Secure Boot is supported, but unless you know exactly how to handle it, it is a P.I.T.A. at best so I am going to say...you must disable Secure Boot to enable stress free computing.

Login is automatic, no credentials are required. The image can be written to a 4gb or larger USB stick, or a writable DVD. Alternatively, you can use the dd command: sudo dd if=linux-lite-7.4-rc1-64bit.iso of=/dev/sdx bs=4M where 'x' is the letter of your usb stick. In linux to find out the letter of your usb stick, open a terminal and type: df -h It is usually listed as 'media' or similar. Hello, I am new to linux so decided to try Linuxlite. I am trying to install Brave browser but have not been able to figure out a way to succesfully do so. I am using a USB drive with 20gb persistant storage on a laptop, safe boot on the bios in laptop is disabled. I have been troubleshooting with the AI system on LinuxLite website for several hours and it just seems to produce an endless amount of errors. The AI will have me run command lines in terminal to fix an error, and in the process of attempting to fix that error, another error appears and then attempt to fix the next one--- basically endlessly.
The "preinstalled" chrome browser doesn't launch, but I am able to install the firefox browser from the Litesoftware welcome page. For the brave I used the single command line install (curl -fsS https://dl.brave.com/install.sh | sh) and also the command lines they list for debian/ubuntu/mint with similar results. I am not a tech expert by any means but I can do the basic command lines and # out the lines that are recommended to be disabled, etc.
What am I missing? Or do I just need a different distro?
